Nieuwe rage: Bubble Tea

Closet full of tea!

Sometimes you come across the most weird, awesome stuff on the internet. Like those cute tea-hangers we found today on www.yankodesign.com.

Why only buy a closet for your clothes? These tea-hangers are easy, cute and actually kind of unuseful!  The creators tell us about their product: 'If the Hanger Tea were to be submitted as an entry to tea-packaging-awards (if such a thing existed), I say it would win hands down!'

What do you think? Would you buy & use it?

DIY: Real chocolate mask

We all love facial masks, that makes our face shine again! We found this inspiring movie on Youtube about how to make your own mask, made of chocolate! :) The only problem; how to put it on your face instead of accidently eat it! ^^

The only three things you need: Chocolate (of course), honey and yoghurt or whipped cream! Bubzbeauty will show you in the next video how to make this delicious mask!

We both were very inspired by this movie. So.... just have a little patience! Our (failure?) video will follow soon...

Did you ever try to make your own mask?

The new super snack!

We just read an article that will make every balance-day a lot easier! Forget eating fruit & vegetable, just grab a hand of popcorn every day! :) Researchers from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania just discovered that popcorn contains much more antioxidants than fruit and vegetables. So, just a really healthy snack!

Antioxidants can help you body to protect against cancer and heart diseases. Popcorn contains more than twice as much of those than fruitsnacks or just normal corn. The study about this wonderfood also tells us that one serving of popcorn provides us more than 70% of our daily whole grain intake! The most persons get about half of their daily intake every day, so popcorn can help them!

Popcorn may contain more antioxidants than fruit and vegetables, but of course, it is still important to eat those! ;) Because they contain a lot of other vitamins, which you can't live without! You also have to watch out with the sugar and salt on your popcorn! This make you popcorn more unhealthy!

But when you are at the movies, just at home or hanging out with a friend;
no hard feelings, just pop that corn! :)

Let's try a Cup of Chococino

Review Nescafé Dolce Gusto: I was one of the lucky ones, who could test the new Coffee-maker the Nescafé Dolce Gusto. After 10 years of drinking coffee made with a filter, this is something new! After seeing more all the different flavors, I was immediately enthusiast! You can make coffee specialties from normal coffee, to cappuccino, to a latte! Everything is possible!

My favorite until now is definitely the Chococino! This is a combination between hot chocolate and coffee, with a layer of cream on top! In this article, I will explain, for the coffee-pad-virgins, how to make this delicious cup of Chococino!

Step 1: Make sure that the coffee-make is on a save place.
Step 2: Fill the water thank with water. Be aware: don’t add too much water.
Step 3: Get a mug of the right size (you can see this on the box of the coffee) and place it in your machine.
Step 4: Push the black handle up.

Step 5: You can now pull the pad-holder to you.
Step 6: For our Chocoine, we first place the cup with chocolate.
Step7: Place the cup in the holder and close it.
Step 8: Push the black handle down.

Step 9: Chose how strong you want your chocolate milk.
Step 10: You can go for cold of warm chocolate milk by pushing the red or the blue button.
Step 11: Repeat those steps with the second cup: the milk.
Step 12: Wait until your mug is full!

Step 13: JUST ENJOY!

It looks like a lot of work like this, but it actually isn’t. I am very enthusiast! Are there more people who own this coffee-maker?

A cup of Cupcake-tea

Are you addicted to your daily cup of tea? Or are you more a sweet tooth and do you absolutely love cupcakes? We came across this fabulous tea in the store and directly saw the solution! :) We found Cupcake-tea!

There are four different kind of flavors,
- Chocolicious (chocolate & mint),
- Lovely Cherry (cherry & vanilla),
- Strawberry Kiss (strawberry & cream) and
- Sweet Honey (banana & honey).
We are both big fans of the Lovely Cherry one.

For our Dutch readers: Don't search any longer, you can buy this tea in almost every Xenos!

Little tip: Did you know that the temperature of the water of the tea is very important for the flavor of your tea? So be a little patient and wait until your water is really boiling when you stick your tea bag in it!

What is your favorite kind of tea?

The one thing you can't do in the summer!

With this horrible weather, you can better try to make the best of it! How? Just by doing the one thing you can’t do in the summer: ice skating. Borrow some skates from a cute neighbor kid and then go find a frozen lake.

Just make sure you play it safe and don’t forget to bring warm clothes, a cap and gloves. If you are an advanced skater, you can try those wonderful moves Michelle Trachtenberg did in Ice princess, but when you are a skate-virgin, you can better try to focus on not falling down. When you are ice-skating you burn more than 400 calories an hour. So after you are finished, you got yourself the best excuse for a delicious cup of hot chocolate. You want the best, most delicious cup of chocolate? Try the recipe beneath!

We all LOVE hot chocolate!
First, fill  ¾ of a cup with chocolate milk. Put it in the microwave and leave it in there for about two minutes (depending on the size of your cup). Then add about three marshmallows and put it all back in the microwave for another two minutes. Add some whipped cream on top and ENJOY!
The right one is how you should NOT do it ;)
Important: watch your chocolate milk when it is in the microwave. Your milk might be boiling and your marshmallows can explode. Unfortunately, this happened to us once. You can see the result on the right side..

What is your favorite winter-experience?

Let’s act a little crazy. Let’s go out for a McBreakfast!

Heavy Saturday night? That’s the best excuse to start your Sunday with the fattest breakfast ever! Get up early and go eat a McBreakfast! A friend and me decided to do this crazy idea a couple of weeks ago and went to check out the McBreakfast.

It is half past 9 and I am already in front of the McDonald waiting for my friend. It feels like everybody is looking at me and thinks: ‘We know what you are going to do; you are going to eat breakfast at the McDonald!’ When my friend arrives, we hurry inside. The smell inside is both making me feel sick, both smelling great.
We order the McBreakfast and sit down at the nearest table where a cranky employee brings us our breakfast. I look down and see two little, mysterious packets on the table. The first one appears to be a McMuffin with egg. I am curious and open the paper. Inside, there is a muffin in the shape of a little pie with a perfectly shaped egg on top. I never knew eggs could be this shape! The muffin and the egg stick together by an enormous layer of cheddar cheese. I always had a weakness for cheddar cheese, so I immediately start eating. How weird and chemical the egg looks, it taste good. So does the croissant, that came in a typical McDonalds box.
At that moment, my friend points to something behind me and says: ‘Woow, we are luckily we weren’t 10 minutes later!’ I look behind me and I can’t believe it. All the cash registers are open and in front of all of them there are dozens of people waiting. ‘Are they all here for a McBreakfast?’ No, some of them don’t just order a McBreakfast, they walk away with McFlurries, Quarter Pounders and Milkshakes. Wow, I would never be able to eat that, this early. But who I am to judge, I’m also sitting here at 9 p.m.

Finally, we finish our orange juice. Yeah! We feel like we are a little healthy now. This feeling is immediately gone when we take a second look at the boxes of our McMuffin and Croissant and see the calories that we just ate. ‘Oops’. Nevertheless, it tasted great. It was a little bit an odd experience, but we weren’t suspecting anything else.

What to do on a lazy Sunday afternoon?

Just go make the most wonderful chocolate cake in the world! A Mississippi Mud Cake! I will be celebrating my 20th birthday this Sunday, so I probably won’t be bored. But with this chocolate cake, I won’t be the only one in the celebrating mood.

You are warned! If you are the only one around, this cake can be very dangerous. One bite and you are sold. Finished the whole cake? Then you know you can skip dinner the next two weeks, because this cake contains more than half a kilo of sugar, one whole pack of butter and two chocolate bars. But it is so delicious that all of this doesn’t mind anymore when the first delicious bite is melting on your tongue.
First of all, you need to run some errands. For this Mississippi Mud Cake you will need:
315 grams of flour

625 grams of sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon of salt
250 grams of butter
1,5 cups of milk (around 375 ml)
75 grams of cacoa
2 eggs
1 cup of whipped cream
90 ml of syrup
2 bars of pure chocolate

Your next step is to preheat the oven, at about 180 degrees.
Then you take a cooking pot and add the butter, the milk, the whipped cream and the cacoa.
Heat everything until the butter is melted.
Take a bowl and add the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
Take a spoon and give it a good stir.
Then you have to put everything together including your two eggs.
Take a mixer and keep on mixing until you have created a smooth mixture.
Pour everything in a big platter and put it in the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes.
Meanwhile you can make the topping. Melt the chocolate and add the syrup.
Keep stirring until your cake is ready and you can put the melted chocolate on top.

And then there is only one thing left to do, just rejoice. And try to say no to that attracting, wonderful, but forbidden, third peace. Good luck with that!
